Frequently Asked Questions
We are a lender-finder for the top personal loans Australia has to offer. Need to find a lender offering a loan between $300 and $10,000? Too easy, leave it to us.
If you are consistently unable to make the repayments on your secured loan, and you do not get in contact with you lender to discuss other options, they may repossess your vehicle in a bid to recoup some of the funds you still owe.
Unsecured personal loans are loans that do not require the borrower to attach an asset as security. In general, these are loans of a smaller amount, as they pose more of a risk to the lender if the borrower defaults.
Secured personal loans are simply loans that do require an asset to be attached as security. Attaching security to a loan greatly reduces the risk posed to the lender. Because of this, lenders are generally willing to lend more in a secured loan.
While we will only associate ourselves with reputable lenders, it is important to get in the habit of doing a little of your own research. Check for an Australian Credit License and do your own research online.

We work with lenders who will accept your car, motorbike, caravan or boat as security against your loan.
Safrock only provides the details submitted in your application to the lender of your choice. For information on the progress of your loan, you’ll need to contact your lender directly.
Most lenders will assess loan applications based on affordability and suitability. In other words, if lenders can see the loan repayments fitting comfortably into your regular government benefits, they should still consider you for a loan. Again, however, this is at the discretion of each lender individually.
As we only refer you to a lender, we ourselves do not do credit checks. The lender you are paired with, however, may conduct credit checks.
If you are struggling to meet your repayments, get in contact with your lender as soon as possible. If you are honest with them and let them know of your change in situation at least 24-hours before your payment is due, they may be able to come up with a new, affordable repayment plan.
As we are only the lender-finder, you’ll have to contact your lender directly regarding information on the progress of your loan.
